BUILDING PROJECT UPDATE

This marks an important milestone and the beginning of a new chapter for Saint Mary's. We are grateful for your continued prayers and financial support. For everyone's safety, the campus is currently gated.


What’s Coming

  • Improved access: Zero-step entry to the church and office space for parishioners and staff.
  • Updated staff spaces: A modern office building with improved amenities for our dedicated staff.
  • Gathering and event space: St. Thomas of Aquinas Hall for small parish gatherings, funeral visitations, and guest speakers.
  • Greater efficiency: Upgrades to plumbing, electrical systems, heating, maintenance, snow removal, and security.
  • More convenience: Expanded parking and a new, larger elevator connecting the church to Bell Hall.

St. Mary Building Project Campaign

Building Project

Purpose: To enhance the facilities of St. Mary’s Parish, focusing on accessibility, parking, office spaces, and meeting areas.


Where gifts go: Restricted to St. Mary’s Parish building costs and related project expenses.


Projects covered: Demolition of existing parish center/old rectory/garages; expanded and safer parking; zero-step access into church and throughout; new single-story office building; Aquinas Hall (parish hall) on the first floor; basement ministry/meeting/storage space; additional restrooms; elevator connection to Bell Hall/basement.


Timing: Project-based (one-time major capital project).

Pledged amount:  $412,979.50

Received to date: $384,256.50

LoveOneAnother

Purpose: A portion of the LOA Campaign is allocated to St. Mary’s Parish, which is in the amount of $798,210.00, specifically designated for the Restricted Building Fund. These funds address St. Mary’s Parish, as well as Archdiocesan needs that are not covered by the CSA.


Where Your Gifts Go:

Donations are managed by the Love One Another Trust, with funds used to support St. Mary, the parish's needs, and Archdiocesan ministries, as outlined in the campaign. (See the fact sheet at the back of the church for details.)


Projects covered: Healthy parishes (local parish needs); charitable outreach (e.g., Catholic Charities, La Sagrada Familia, Catholic Social Responsibility); support and formation for priests/deacons/seminarians and lay ministers (e.g., Seminary, senior priest health care, formation- education); centers of prayer and ministry (parish/school repair, rural parishes, pastoral center, cathedral, campus ministry); Catholic schools (school grants, Seton Catholic Schools).
