Elizabeth Ministry

Elizabeth Ministry is a support ministry for women of the parish during childbearing years. Support areas include pregnancy, birth, adoption, infertility, miscarriage, infant or child loss, and childhood crisis.

Elizabeth's Closet is an extension of the Elizabeth Ministry Pregnancy and Support Center. The group of Volunteers is dedicated in helping families in need obtain items for their babies and toddlers. Items provided include diapers, wipes, wash, clothing, blankets and baby furniture when available. Donations for the Closet are accepted year round and are tax deductible.

Elizabeth Ministers are not counselor or trained experts. They are there to listen and provide support, the same type of support women used to find with their mothers, sisters or in the community. They are women who are willing to share their presence, stories and experiences in the hope that these will support, encourage, console and at times bring healing to another woman.

Volunteers are needed in all areas of Elizabeth Ministry, from the Ministers who visit women to the people who sort and distribute the items from Elizabeth's Closet. Donations to the closet are also welcome and needed.
